Lycaon's top pick. It stacks a huge amount of Impact% and triggers on Defensive Assists, feeding the Assist Follow-Ups that supply most of his Daze. Its Fire/Ice team buffs are among the strongest around and easy to keep up, since Encircle Prey's Basic Attacks count toward the stacks with Potentials active.

One of the best pure-Daze engines and easy to obtain. Daze is all it brings, but it brings a lot, especially early in a fight when it helps hit stun breakpoints. Output depends on enemy HP: strongest above 75% HP, lower once targets drop below that.

Needs deliberate Energy management to extract its full Daze value and can still trail other picks, but the Energy Regen is excellent. EX Specials keep King of the Summit running and are a core source of Lycaon's Daze, Anomaly and Decibels, so with proper use this is the best non-limited option in most cases.

Solid Impact gains, and because Lycaon can spend just 40 Energy per EX Special he keeps its stacks up more easily than most. With Potential active, Encircle Prey counts as on-field, so the Energy Regen barely helps. Viable when you need late-fight Daze beyond Fossilized Core, but Steam Oven usually wins on both Daze and sustain.

Lycaon's own Signature is a poor fit. His Daze mostly comes from Defensive Assists, Assist Follow-Ups and EX Specials, none of which gain from its Daze bonus, and the short, separately tracked stacks are hard to keep at full uptime even with Encircle Prey. Nearly any other Stun engine does better; skip it.
